Abstract of the Jurin DB
The culture of Confucianism which bloomed in Tokugawa Japan was influenced not only by China but also by expressions of thought peculiar to Japan.
The great series which brought together the writings of Japanese Confucians in this period was the Nihon Jurin Sōshow“ú–{Žò—Ñ‘p‘x (edited by SEKI Gifichirō ŠÖ‹Vˆê˜Y). The series consists of fourteen volumes and about twelve thousand pages, and contains many rare works. The Jurin Database provides this precious heritage to people all over the world who are interested in Japan Studies and Japanese Culture.
