Urban Sociology, focusing on Indonesia. The Asia mega city / New towns and industrial estates / The middle class in Southeast Asian city
インドネシアを事例に、工業政策の地域社会への影響を調査している。本年度は1960年代から海外の地域計画に登場するIndustrial Estatesの変遷を整理するとともに、日本からの企業移民にも焦点を当て、人・技術・工業政策の国際移転についての知見を深める。
